"new" old guy in the block

Good Morning to all. Even though I bought my 2006 Spirit class c motorhome about a year ago, i consider myself new to RVing. I thought I had read enough material to avoid pitfalls in buying a used RV, I was wrong. It only had 10,000 miles on it, 65 hours on the generator and looked in great shape. Reading this web site has helped me solve two minor issues, thank you. I like the way the "old timers" help the new members out with questions. A little about me: Retired USN, retired from Norfolk Naval Shipyard, currently working part time, helping my daughter raise 3 wonderful grandkids. They enjoy going camping with their "abuelo". Hoping to hit the road and see our great country in about a year.

Thanks for your service. it's a great common interest in a wonderful lifestyle as a good reason for the old helping the new. Good luck with your plans. Safe, and trouble free travels. Loved the Navy.

Welcome aboard! Now get out there and enjoy the coach! Pretty soon YOU will be the one posting to help other people with their problems. . . That way we can all avoid the repair shops that don't know what a motor coach is, and there are a LOT of them!

Thank you all for the welcome. I do have some damage that I need to fix. Posted it in the class c forum, under rv repair. Would love any input on this.
