Hi,
Ihave been lurking on several forum's since late last summer. I was ready to go to St. Louis to buy an Airstream Excella when I passed out and wrecked my new Silverado (2000 miles)! A week later, Thanksgiving day, after all the tests and scans nobody knew anything yet, so I passed out again in the kitchen and ruined Thanksgiving dinner for my family. Wife called paramedics and they took me to ER, this time they found it! I had a pacemaker implant the next day. Felt better coming out of ER than going in, feel like a new man now.
They held the Excella for me, picked it up in January. Stayed overnight in it at dealers and pulled it home.
Have 1 grandson, 9yrs old, we went to Bennett Spring Park during Spring Break for 3 days, fished and broke in the trailer. My wife likes to camp at Holiday Inn and such, maybe we can bring her around.
I retired last year after teaching electronics 33 years and supevising other teachers and degree programs at Ozarks Technical Community College so guess I am a little older than most on this list. I check this list and the Airstream list on Yahoo everyday. Hope to meet some of you in the future.1

Welcome aboard, Hillbilly. Sorry to hear of your health problems but glad the problem has been found and fixed. This site has a lot of good information and ideas. I know you will enjoy it as much as I do. Again, welcome aboard.

Hillbilly:
May I extend a hearty welcome to the great folks at iRV2 as well.
See what happens to you when you're lurking and not posting! Seriously, sure glad you're OK!
Sounds like your new Excella is a beauty! There was one parked behind us last week. Now, one other thing, I'll bet you're not the oldest guy on the site (I'll be 61 in June) with 5 grandkids and another on the way.
Of course, my bride (who's 46) keeps me young. I'll have her talk to your wife about why RVing and seeing the real America is so much better than the Holiday Inn.
Please visit us often and participate regularly!
