Welcome! Bear in mind that San Diego is a popular summer destination. RV parks fill to capacity, so make sure you book your stay early if an RV park is what you have in mind.

It's at home in my back yard. I had to buy a cover to get through the winter. It's too cold to reseal the roof. I need windshield glass and some new tires to be ready for travel. Wife and kids are happy

Thanks to everyone for the welcome. I took the behemoth for my first drive yesterday. I went about 50 miles over familiar roads, up to 55 MPH, but no interstate highway time. I also spent about 45 minutes in the high school parking lot, getting a feel for backing up. I felt much more relaxed at the end of the trip. I'm sure that I'll get the hang of it.

This will be my last post here. I have a million questions that need to be posted in the right areas. There is much to do before June.
