New owner in Washington

Howdy y'all! Just introducing myself. Just purchased (but haven't yet taken delivery of) a 2016 NewMar Canyon Star, and have started delving into this forum in hopes of learning a few pointers etc. and making some new friends! We used to have a 27' Winnebago Class B when the kids were young, but haven't owned a rig for the past 6 years.

I think my concerns are mostly focused around learning the quirks of a 40' rig. Any tips for a newbie Class A owner? Also, I'm really interested in making a connection with anyone who RVs in a wheelchair. We bought the 3911 floor plan with the chair lift and other mods so my wife and I, along with our paralyzed adult son, can get back out on the road. Any suggestions from folks who successfully deal with wheelchair RVing would really help us out!

Anyway, just wanted to say hi - looking forward to getting involved here!

Tex

Hi Tex

Glad you joined us here in the forum. I'm sorry I can't help with the wheelchair RVing, but I have seen several threads dealing with that subject. Try a search using the tabs above and that might help.

Good luck with the new Canyon Star. Welcome to the Newmar family.

Best of luck and Happy Trails!!!!

Hi Tex! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

Congrats on the new rig! You'll do fine, just keep her between the ditches!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!
