Hello, Tom and I are new owners of our Newmar motorhome. We were lucky enough to buy a low mileage unit that was well taken care of. We started out twenty five years ago with tent camping, moved to a pop-up, then to a trailer. Stopped for a while and crusied for a number of years. Findly desided to take the plunge and bought the motor home. It will be our home away from home. We have a little dog that we will be going camping with us. Any tips of campgrounds in the Jersey/Penn area that are dog friendly. We hope to be going to Disney World next year and wonder if there are any rules about dogs and Fort Wildernes.

Jerseygirl...I would like to be the first to welcome you to iRV2! As you will soon see...this happens to be the friendliest and most knowledgable RV forum on the web.

I am going to move this to the "New Member Check-In" area and then I am going to suggest you check out the "Nor'easters" group down below along with joining in on the "Newmar Owners" group! (When you get there... ask for some Newmar Karma!

Again...welcome to iRV2!!

MM

(edited to add links to make it easier on you to find the other two forums...Enjoy!)

Hi Jerseygirl,
Welcome to iRV2. For 4 years (84-88) I lived in Sussex (the icebox of NJ). Congrats on your Newmar coach. I do not have a pet so I can not help with those questions. Good luck and let us hear from you often.

Welcome!
My Family and I just made the decision to jump into a very low mileage, incredibly well maintained Newmar Kountry Star. We are having a blast. So is our 200 pound Neopolitan Mastiff.
I am a rookie to this site as well but it is the best source of knowledge about your Newmar besides the manual.
Have fun and learn a lot fast.

MG

Hi Jersey girl,
You will love Fort Wilderness and so will your dog. How about scouting out some camp sites in North Jersey. I will going up there this summer and need to be close to North Caldwell but not to close. Anything along I-80.
