New owner questions..,

Hi.., just purchased a Micro Minnie 2106FBS and made our first trip. We had a great time. Two questions... What do we use to lubricate the ball and hitch? And we hear the term 'winterize' a lot... Once we winterize does that mean we can't use our trailer til warmer weather? Or is that like a car and you winterize and continue to use? Just want other owners thoughts... We will check with dealer as well.

Welcome to iRV2.

Winterizing an RV is a; for storage, to prevent the components of the water system from frost damage; practice.

If your using the RV constantly and are willing to leave the heat on when not in use if frost is forecast you may not need to winterize.

HOWEVER : Caution is required , depending on the insulation of the RV and the temperatures , leaving the heat on may not be enough to prevent damage to the water system. Items like an outside shower will be the first to be damaged.

Will the RV be in your Yard during times of non-use ? Plugged into power?
How cold does it get in your area ?
