New Owners of 2001 Safari Trek 2830 with P-32 Workhorse Chassis

Hi everyone!

My partner Kathy and I just purchased this awesome rig in South Carolina. We LOVE our "Trekapotamus" - it's everything we wanted at this time in our lives! 10 years ago we lived and travelled full time in a 38' Safari Serengeti, so we knew we wanted another Safari coach - they're just so solidly built! We are slowly heading back to WA state - our other home! I spent 6 months hunting all over the country via Internet for this coach!

We have a few issues (not unusual, of course!) that I'm hoping for some insights from the forums on; a weird ignition problem and a brake issue.

With the awesome help from the AMAZING Roger Haag - - aka oldusedbear at the AutoPark Library on TrekTracks (NW TREK Fun Club), we have finally solved our Auto Park Brake issues.! He is just so knowledgeable on the Auto Park Brake, and so easy to understand! We just followed his directions and all is well with it!

See y'all on the roads and in the forums! Meanwhile, keep ' per between the lines!

Best Regards,
Lynne & Kathy Angeloro.
...and Berkeley too! (HHRDD.org)

Gotta love those older well built coaches.
We sure do!

Welcome. Correct, there is nothing like a Trek and TrekTracks is an outstanding resource. IRV2 is really good, too. There's lots of information here, but you need to be aware that everyone is at a different place in their RV experience so questions and responses sometimes vary...
