Found the group this morning and I have so many questions.
I am 63, almost 64. I am disabled and living on a shoestring budget so I can't just run to the dealer with every little problem. I was already a bit of a tinker so minor fixes are something I relish. My hobbies include computers, ham radio (KK5AA), amateur astronomy, railroads and RVing. I never go camping to be alone, I go to be with others I know and love. My 2013 Keystone Hideout is my final camper, by the time I pay it off, I'll be too old to buy anything else so I want it to last and stay in the best shape I can keep it. It is smaller than my last camper but actually a bit more advanced. That means more bells and whistles to maintain. My favorite camp grounds are well maintained state parks in Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas. Private campgrounds are usually too expensive for me and don't really offer amenities I would use. The smaller private campgrounds in this area are more itinerant worker camps and I don't like staying there.
I am looking forward to conversing with everyone and appreciate any help anyone can offer.

There are so many helpful folks here. When we were sailing, astronomy was a keen interest. Are you a model railroader or are you a full blown ferroequinologist? I passed mine to my sons and we started the grandson on them last year. Look forward to hearing your story.

Welcome and lots of good folks and good information here.
We also much prefer state/national parks to RV resorts.
