New Rookie RVers looking to go full time

Greetings Y'all from wet and soggy Georgia!

My wife Cherlanne and I, Carlos, are brand spanking new RVers. We did search after search after search and have read tons of vlogs and blogs including iRV2. We have joined a couple of groups including, of course, iRV2 in hopes of acquiring enough book knowledge to feel prepared for our first trip. Oh My God there is so much information out there

Well, about one month ago we bought our first motorhome, a 2006-2007 Monaco Monarch SE 37PBD gas fed with a W22 workhorse chassis and the Chevy Vortec 8.1 engine. My wife and I love our new coach and can not wait to hit the road. Initial plans call for a period of apprenticeship for the next 3 years and then in 2021 going full-time RVing.

I think this is enough for introduction...

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new coach as well as the planned lifestyle change.

You are joining a good group of folks here with good info to share. The learning curve can be steep but thankfully only steep in the beginning.

Good luck and enjoy the adventure.

Congratulations on the new coach and the plans to go full time! We started full timing Oct 22, 2018 and are still climbing the learning curve and getting the final bugs out of our new coach (warranty work).

During our research an estate lawyer specializing in domiciles told us that new full timers were some of the most stressed out people, but a year later were the happiest and least stressed of anyone she knew. So my wife and I are looking forward to that.

Congratulations from a guy who's still in the "almost" section of the stadium.
And welcome!

Welcome to the forum!!

You will love the motor, but I don't know jack about the chassis. I'm glad that you are working your way into this adventure as so many jump in and find the water as hard as concrete sometimes. The biggest thing that is holding us back is getting our safety net established but hopefully that will be by late summer but I want time in the coach to learn it inside and out before we start.
