New RV family

Hello All,
My wife and I bought a nice piece of land in the South and since I need to finish work in SoCal until early next year, we decided to live in the RV for a few months and get out of our overpriced house rental. Bought a 1993 Bounder in good condition and just did a 5000 mile roadtrip. No major issues, this big baby did fine. Happy to join the group here as I do have a few questions which I'll post in the discussion area...
Talk to ya!
P.S. Our five kids and three dogs are enjoying it too...some say we're "crazy" but we know they mean to say we're "adventurous!"

Congrats on your new life! I must say that drastic situations derserve drastic measures. I believe you did the right thing as it will only bring the family closer. What an opportunity for your family. I have two adult children and they grew up so fast I cannot remember the day they moved out. Seems like a century ago. Thank goodness they are now having children. I see them more now. Enjoy this special time you have with your children. Tell them each day how much they mean to you. It matters.
Be safe and welcome! Drive safe!

My wife and I lived on the building lot and helped to build our new home for about 4 months in a travel trailer. It was a learning experience even after 35 years of marriage. Have a good time it was planed that way.
