New RV owner from MI

Hi kids.
Just purchased my first RV. As a kid we used to go camping a lot, but now in my adult life (I'm 65) I think this is a good way to kick off my 2nd childhood.
1975 Ford Econoline with a Eldorado camper. Needs a little freshening up but overall in really good condition.
Since I'm new to all of this any input would be appreciated.
My fiancÚ and I are excited to go on our first campout.

Hi Donzie, I drive a C style camper too, would love to see the inside of your Eldorado... I don't have the cab over bed...but they look about the same length...bet the layouts are pretty similar. Lots of good help over in the vintage threads for questions on our kind of MOHO's.

Hi Donzie,

Welcome to the forum from another MI resident. Hope that baby gets out of the snow soon and gets some use.

Get a water pressure regulator and a water line filter (from Walmart) pretty inexpensive but can save you a lot of trouble. Otherwise, there is a lot you will learn as you go. When you go to a CG ask the people around you questions, most are happy to answer and talk anything RV. I would love to see your rig, I love the old ones. They knew how to build them and that is evident by how many of them are still out there.

Have a wonderful time with it.

Thank you all for the warm welcome.
We're excited to get started working on it. Mechanically it seems fine but the interior could stand some freshening up. We're going all 70s retro!!
