New RV'er from Northern Michigan

Greetings to All!
As I sit here this morning watching the snow fall (10inches +) I'm getting that urge to head south! What's keeping me here, you may ask? Well, muzzleloading deer season. At least that's what I'm telling the wife.
For the past 5 years we go south for the winter. We have been blessed to have rented or bought-and-sold travel trailers where we were, never having to move one ourselves. With the arrival of our first Grandson in Nevada, things are about to change.
So I just wanted to start here with an introduction, then proceed onto the sections where I hope to find knowledgeble people to answer all kind of basic questions. Looks like a good place to find that kind of information!

Mark: WELCOME to the iRV2 gang!! Where ya at in N. Michigan? Have cousin in Eben Jct. (SE of Marquette) and we're originally out of Duluth, MN. Yup, you guys in Yooper country REALLY know what snow is all about!! So....hope ya enjoy the "Second Week of Deer Camp".....as an old deer hunter from Minnesota, I DO often miss those times and can sure understand why you're waiting till the end of season to head South. Now a days, however, it's not much of a decision between sittin on a deer stand in the dark before sunrise, freezin, OR...having a cup of coffee and smokin my pipe under the palm trees here in Florida. Anyway, again, WELCOME and hope ya can get on the road soon. Steve & Lynette
