Hello to my new family. Just retired from USPS with 38 years and 4 months. I'm ready to enjoy my RV with grandchildren. Got the check going direct deposit and new ATM card in the pocket it's time for "Hammer Down". Found a one owner Winnebago Vectra 34' with all the buttons and whistles and I feel like Chevy Chase brother-in-law but I've been practicing setting up and taking down here at home so maybe I want stand out in the park. Got the laptop to take with me so I can read the forum and stay in touch. Thanks to you all for your friendliness.

Hi Hammer Down,

WELCOME!!! Saw the photo on your profile page. Sweet ride!! Is it yours?

Congrats on your new Coach!! Look forward to reading about your new life-- both the high's and not-so-high's

I think I have learned more about what didn't go right- from members- than what did. I know it's helped me avoid a lot of mistakes that I would have made if not for the honest & forthright folks here. They saved me a fortune in 'newby' mistakes!!!

'Course, that doesn't mean that I don't make them. Last winter I forgot a VITAL step in winterizing my rig and busted my hot water heater. $400 to fix this year when I filled up my tank, started my water pump and a friend yelled (from outside) "Should water be pouring out of the bottom of your trailer?" Eleven words that you NEVER want anyone to ever say to you!!!

Just want to let you know that NO question is too small!

Have FUN!!

Sheila

Yes this is the car I bought new in 1965 cost 2626 dollars wanted to take with me but the wife states we are taking the C70 Volvo convertible. I guess probably best everyone would be messing with the MUSCLE car. Thanks for the kind welcome.

Welcome. I grew up in Madisonville, TN. Lots of nice muscle cars that way.
