New RVers

Hello everyone. I am Chuck and my wife Susan and I are new to the RV world. We live in northwest Florida in the Big Bend region. We recently bought a 1999 Bounder wide body 34J in very good condition. Many items needed to get started were removed by the seller so we are in the process of re-equipping and making it homey. Our plans are to start out on weekends and short vacations, getting used to everything, and then more extensive traveling. We have lived and cruised on our boat for 25 years so the RV has many similarities. I am a marine service technician so the electrical and electronic aspects will be fairly easy for me. Getting familiar with where everything is has been the challenge. I'm sure we will have lots of questions along the way. Chuck

Chuck & Susan;

We are pleased you joined us. Congratulations on the purchase of you first RV. As former large boat owner I understand some of the similar aspects of boating and RVing. Browse the forums that interest you and don't be afraid to ask questions. For questions about your Bounder I recommend you visit the Fleetwood Forum Click Here . Enjoy the forums;

Don

Welcome! We recently bought our first RV too, which happens to be a 97 Bounder 34P, so I'm sure we'll have a lot of things in common.

Ford or Chevy? Ours is a Ford.
