Hey Everyone, I'm Chantel. I'm 24 and I just bought my first RV, and starting mid october, I'm taking her all across the USA, parking in a different walmart every night and (since I'm a musician) busking for cash along the way. any tips or advice??

Make sure that your rig is in top shape and get a roadside service plan. Good luck and welcome to the RV'ing lifestyle.

Chantel.. Staying south for the winter is a good idea, but if you plan on being in AZ or NM you might find yourself in some pretty high elevation, might need those chains. Cathy and I live in Florida, having come from California then Idaho, and I think you would find North Florida an interesting place to visit for scenery but I'm sure the music scene is better in Gainesville, Tampa, Orlando and points south (Like South Beach in Miami). So much for tips from the old guy.... Your adventure sounds great, enjoy and be safe.

Glad you joined us Chantel. Sounds like you have a great trip planned. Don't be afraid of staying at a few Flying J's while on the road. I know they're truck stops but they have parking usually in front for rv's. Might just break the scenery up a bit. You can go online and download the locations or if you happen to stop in one you can pickup a flyer of there locations usually at the payment desk. Have met a lot of nice folks at quite a few different locations while on the road. Hope you enjoy your travels, be safe and Happy Motoring!!!!
