New Solo from New Jersey

Hello to everyone,
I'm new to this forum, but not new to Rving. I have been Rving for about 10 years now, but today I start a new journey of going solo.
My soulmate of 44years recently passed and it was her wish that I don't give up on what we both loved to do.
Any advice on how to make it work alone would be greatly appreciated.
I already know that it is one day at a time, it's how to mingle with others without seeming to intrude and offending anyone.

Again, Hello

Thanks, Joe

Hi Joe, welcome to IRV2. Sorry for your loss. I think most people will welcome you to their campfire. Maybe try to go to some rallys or local meet and greets. Our local Carolina Campers has a single that camps with our group. It may just take you time to feel more comfortable. God Bless and safe travels.

Joe - you are not alone as you now certainly have an angel traveling with you!

How about joining a club with others who are traveling single (and in some cases also with their angels)?! Sometimes it can help to meet others who are/have gone through just what you have and also have a love of the same interests!

Here is a link I found to a group like that in the NJ/PA area. (I'm sure there may be others out there too...)

Penn LoW's Home Page

Also, if you ever see us in your travels in the area, come on over and pull up a chair! Number of people in the party is never an issue! (And we sure have our share of angles traveling with us too!)

Sending hugs to you!

Sorry for your loss but as you mentioned your better half didn't want you to quit what you really enjoyed to do. Take it one day at a time and hope it all work out to a great time. Hope to see you down the road. Be safe and Happy Motoring!!!
