New Starcraft Owner

Hi everybody. New too the community and rving.

We bought a new 2014 Starcraft 16rb hybrid trailer a couple of months ago.

So far, we have added a battery, propane tank, 19 inch tv, replaced the stereo to play sound from the tv, and bought all the basic necessities.

We have taken it out for a few weekends, one several hundred miles away, and absolutely love it. Only complaint is the tiny tanks.

Our TV is a 2010 Cadillac SRX, with a husky round bar weight distribution hitch, sway bar, abd transmission cooler. She struggles a bit at higher speeds (drag), but on the highway in 4th gear does the job at 3200 rpm. We definitely will be staying on flat land until I upgrade the tow vehicle. Our dealership also threw in a Prodigy RF brake controller for cheap since they were having a hard time selling it.

Any way great to be here.

Thanks everybody.

Looking forward to taking some trips and upgrades. Already trying to figure out how to get some fans installed in the bunk ends.

See you on the forums!

Welcome to the irv2 gang!....and thanks for the pictures! Love your rig....looks really cool. (I think almost all RVers are addicted to RVs of all types, their floorplans and their features, so we have to get a fix once a while by someone posting pictures!)

Jump right in these forums. Folks here are really helpful.
