New TEXAS member checking in!

Hi. We live in the beautiful Hill Country area of Texas.

Just bought a 2012 Skyline 21' Koala last Fall...THEN decided just last month that we really want a bigger RV. Just don't like the narrow portable table we have to set up in front of our couch. We miss having a table with seats on each side for game playing.

So....we are looking at Keystone Bullet at the moment in the 28 to 29' range. HUGE difference, and we so like the large rear window, the two chairs in addition to the couch, the nice size bathroom and the laundry chute.

But...we also just saw photos of an RV called "Hill Country". SOOOOO Texas. So we'll go look at that in two days.

Hi from South Dakota and a BIG WELCOME !!

My wife (Lynette) and I have been full timing since 05 and we've sure enjoyed the "Hill Country" area when we've visited. Beautiful country, and the folks are great!!

So, assuming you'll read this after inspecting that Keystone, what did ya think??

Hello fellow Texan, I graduated from Fredericksburg HS many years ago and just got home from a reunion of old people who look nothing like their pictures from high school. LOL!

I'm new, as in the past few minutes, to this forum too.

We got a fixer upper of an RV and it has been an adventure so far and we haven't even gone anywhere in it yet!

Hello KAS,

I bought a fixer-upper as well. It's still sitting in my yard, and it's been an adventure to me also.

Putting it on the road come Friday, hope it works!

LOL! I wish you luck. Hubby says he hopes in another week or two to be ready to drive ours to visit a friend about 4 hours away. Then he will know what else needs work before the next shake-down.

I'm a rooted in one place home base sort of person who loves to go so that I can come home again. The RV is like taking a bit of home with you. I'd've made a good turtle.

Howdy! We lived in Austin for a couple of years, and loved the hill country. Used to drive out to Fredericksburg on the weekends for German food.

The funny thing is we don't like German food. But we do love Fredericksburg. It's funny living in a destination town and wanting to go to other destinations. lol

Welcome back to the forum. We just got our Gulfstream this year when we sold our Class A and miss the space we had, so we are already thinking of selling it and getting something slightly larger, but that my wife will still drive. Sold the A because she wouldn't drive it.
