New Thor ACE 27.1 Owners
Looking forward to using our new RV that we picked up less than 2 weeks ago. Unfortunately have to make a trip back to the dealer tomorrow which is a 3 hour trip each way. I was sanitizing the water system and turns out there is a leak from pipes that weren't sealed under the fridge which is in the slide out. Normally I would go ahead and fix it but it is a really tight space to get into and feel better about them doing the repair and checking things out. Don't want any problems with the warranty down the line.
My wife and I have been reading similar problems on the internet. It is frustrating that if this has been happening to other units in the past, that Thor would have better quality control.
Glad we found this forum to refer back to.

Welcome to the Forum and congrats on your RV. As was suggested be sure to check out all of the systems so you can be sure everything is in working order or not. Then when you visit the dealer you will have a list of what needs to be corrected. We hope you have many great camping adventures. Best of luck.
Happy RV'ing

Welcome to the irv2 gang and congrats on your new ACE wheels! Good luck with all your checklist and warranty items. Seems that it is part of the whole purchase process. I think if I bought a new or used RV and nothing went wrong, I'd be looking over my shoulder constantly. Hmmmm....seems new houses are that way, too. Hope you have a great trip on that first big outing!
