I found this site by it being listed on a blog and I like what I see! Seems to be some diversity here. I hope I fit in but with possibly the only skoolie conversion ...I dunno?

LOL ok..dub me the "red headed step child"

About 6 months to a year ago I got biten by the wander-bug and being a person who normally doesnt travel this was an odd occurance. I began looking at RV's and realized that my budget wouldnt allow me to purchase a newer fancy one so I started seeking the best built that my money would buy. A bus conversion was what I landed on and so here I am.

Single and partially raising a couple of gr..gra..um..my daughters two precious kiddos. I want to travel this summer to Colorado to revisit the happiest of my childhood days as my parents owned property there when I was a sprout.

I have tons to learn about rv-ing and will be here reading some daily. I know I'll be askin some dumb questions but maybe I also have something to offer to some of you through my own experiences.

I will post a picture of the bus as soon as I figure out how-to I think I'm the only one here that has one... is it so???

Here's to all of you! Thank you for all of the tips and tricks and advice you bring to my world.

Glad you found us. You can go to your profile area and post some info for your signature and where you are located. Check out the regional forums and see where folks are camping.

Thanks Ken for directing me to Texas Boomers and for the welcome. I'll check it out. Was wanting to camp this july 4th but didnt make plans soon enough. I am currently painting the top of my bus white so it will be cooler. Should be done by the week end ...maybe I can find somewhere to go for the 4th.
