New to Class A
We broke down and sold our truck camper, then purchased a Monaco La Palma. The choice was made by availability, and our trade in value. It seems not many people use truck campers any more.
The decision was made to change class, based on our age and what we have been doing with the RV lately. We already have done most North America touring. As of late with have been renting sites for month at a time.
The RV has not been abused and has very low mileage.
Now the fun begins, I want to;
-change out all of the lights, to LED
-change out the entertainment equipment to new low energy
-change out the Voyager system to LCD or LED.
-re build the entertainment cabinets after change out.
That is about where I am right now. There will be a lot of questions coming.

Bob
Welcome - I think you will like the new ride. We are similar - have been there and done that re: frequent travel...now staying in one spot for a month at a time...mostly snowbirding.
My $0.02 re LED - great improvement - I've done it on MH & boat...first attempt had some difficulty w/ LED's burning out but they were the cheapo's supposedly rated for 12V but charger suns V up to 14+V during part of the cycle and will burn out some LED's.
Last ones I bought through Marinebeam.com and they are rated for 10V - 30V with a currrent limiting circuit - more expensive but the way to go in my book.
Their website has lots of tech info explaining the difference
Good luck w/ the new rig
