New to forum

Hi guys and girls looking forward to being part of this new forum.. im picking up my 2017 Keystone Cougar 325 rds on saturday, im upgrading from a 33 ft bumper pull this will be my first 5th wheel. My concerns are my f350 has a short bed its 6.5 ft bed vs a 8ft bed. I was told by dealer they would install a Curt slider 5th wheel hitch. My concerns are i have a roll back bed cover , am i still able to use it? Meaning roll it back when towing, and able to slide closed when not towing, or will have to remove hitch from truck bed to close? Please give me advice. Thanks again Jim

Welcome to iRV2.

The hitch your having installed should have adjustments to lower it's profile in the bed to be under the cover ; I have several friends who run covers that go over their hitches, I don't know their cover brands though; if adjustments for 5er ride height are necessary the trailer pin box is adjustable too.
Height of my 5er hitches, on two tow vehicles, was below the top edge of the box.

Tell the dealer what you want , I'm sure they can make it work.
