Hey although I have owned a 5th wheel for 4 years, i know nothing about them. We have ours parked in a private campground near Oklahoma university campus. I work in town, have a house in town and weekend at the campground. Don't even have a truck strong enough to pull the 5th wheel at this point. So not really a 5th wheel more like a small cabin with wheels and a hitch

Welcome ksdresch to irv2.
You still have things to maintain and you can get answers here by just asking.
Some day you may have to tow.
Enjoy the forums.

ksdresch,
Welcome to the IRV2 forum. A 5th wheel without the truck? Well at least you've got the good half. Looking forward to your participation.

Howdy! Welcome to irv2.com! I agree, with just a 5er you still have the same maintenance issues, and questions, upkeep, etc. Jump in and ask questions, offer advice, whatever fits at the time.

Hubby and his late wife did the same for 5+ years before he retired, although they did pull it out for mini-vacations. Like someone posted, you still have all the same maintenance issues. Welcome to the forum!
