New to forum - 5th wheel shopping

I'm new to this discussion board so bear with me. We are shopping for a 5th wheel and came across a 2006 Keystone Outback yesterday. It looked like good construction but strangely enough, we did not find a thermostat on any interior wall. I did find a remote control for the air conditioner and it looks like it may control the heat also but not sure. Can anyone shed some light on this remote and not have a thermostat on the wall somewhere.

If there's only a remote to control the heat and AC then look for a sensor somewhere on the inside wall. There must be a way for feedback of the temperature to get back to the thermostat circuitry.

mystery thermostat

I found out that the camper thermostat is in the remote control for the heater and AC. Therefore I need to keep the remote in the living space and not hide it while the furnace or AC is on. Thanks for the replies folks.

We have same setup in our mh. Found that temp setting may or may not be what we really want as the location of the sensor is above the tv near the windshield. Still trying to find a location for an indoor thermometer that gives us an average temperature. From there we can adjust heat/cooling to a number that is good for us throughout the rig. Enjoy your new rig.
