Hi all,
I just decided to come over this this forum. I was on a diffferent forum which shall remain nameless and have grown tired of the bellyaching over there.
I have fulltimed in my various campers since going on the road for work in May 07. I work on wind turbines, so I travel all across the country.
While working in Schenectady, NY, I replaced my 1984 fifth wheel with a brand new 2009 Jayco Eagle Super Lite which I lived in for the entire winter through April. I moved the camper down the MD to take some time off when my assignment ended, and while moving into a storage lot, my guide guided me into the building. Thank God for insurance, right?
So, after a lot of heartache and toil, the adjuster decided to total my rig. Most of it was because of the damage to the slide out, as it seemed all superficial damage to me. Oh well.
So, now I'm in the market for a new camper. I have my eye on a 2009 Jayco Eagle Fifth Wheel 34.5 BHS. I am open to suggestions about compareable rigs. Also, anyone with an Eagle series, please let me know of any known issues with your rigs!
