New to Group
Hello, I am new to forums and I will probably take a while to learn to find my way around. I am glad to join because I heard that many of my RV questions may be answered by people that have experienced the same problems.

Welcome to the irv2 gang! You picked a nice set of forums to get answers to questions and to even just explore topics. We learned a lot before purchasing our MH just by browsing the wide range of topics here. Good luck as you explore.

New, Excited, But nervous too
Hello Everyone, Just bought our first MH,(last week). It's a beautiful thing and very intimidating. The amount of books that came with it is enough to scare even the most avid reader My husband and I are going thru it with extreme care and trying to anticipate what we need to do if....??? I plan on travel nursing across the states. He is still learning how to drive safely, but I was wondering if anyone has any advice and/or driving tips before I get behind the wheel. It's a diesel pusher, 40 ft. Any advice/tips would be greatly appreciated, (and not only about driving either). I thank you all for your time, Sincerely, terrydrn99

Let's see...driving tips....I've learned a lot from others here. Maybe I can remember a few things i learned while you're waiting for someone more knowledgeable to reply. (1) There are actually some driving "schools or lessons" out there. Seems like one couple took their MH to a place in Florida and spent several days with a professional driving instructor. You can search for this on the forums...generally multiple options near top right portion of the screen; (2) Some folks have mentioned uTube videos (I found several that really helped me; (3) Someone on this site (as I recall) pointed me to an online newsletter at RVtravel.com and I found a number of useful driving and other tips there. Hope that helps.

Thank You. It's funny, I guess you can find anything on youtube. I used it to help me with an algebra class once, but never thought about looking for RV driving tips. I will also look into driving classes in my area. Maybe after I complete the class it will help lower my insurance rates.
