New to iRV2

Hello everyone. Just dropped in to see what condition my condition was in.
I was refered to IRV2 through the RV.Net forum while trying to research information on a Bankspower kit for my 2003 DutchStar with a 350 HP ISC Cummins.
We bought our DutchStar about 1 1/2 years ago just before retiring and decided to try RVing and see if we like it enough to go full time. So far we enjoy everything about our MH but maybe not quite enough to sell the house. The jury is still out on that point.
We spent this past winter in Texas on the Gulf Coast and Hill Country. We had a great time and the people in Texas are the best. Not sure where we are headed next winter but one thing is for sure, it will not involve snow.

Here's hoping we meet some of you going down the road.

Dennis, Carol, and (of course, Sophie):

Hello, and a BIG WELCOME to the iRV2 gang.

We too like the Hill Country of Texas and also often stay in and enjoy the Rockport/Fulton Beach gulf coast area. It's either Arizona, Texas or Florida for us in the winter. (We're DONE WITH SNOW !!). Oh, ya gotta try the Silver Springs, Florida area some winter...you'll like it.

Hi Dennis, Carol, & Sophie,

Welcome. This is an invitation to try central Florida this winter. Ocala (Silver Springs) is a nice area. We're between Tampa & Orlando, which is a nice area also, but the beach areas would be really nice. We like the west coast (gulf side). Our weather this past winter was unbelievably fabulous. However, it's hideous right now. I'm so sick of being hot and sweaty!!!
Enjoy your travels and stay safe!

Hi Dennis and Carol, welcome to IRV2. We went to Florida for the first time last winter and will probably go this winter as well. Enjoy your travels.
