new to IRV2

I've been lurking for awhile. Now I am happy to join. We are heading out on an 8,000 mile around the US trip. Going through a little Canada and walking into Mexico on the way home to Roseburg Oregon.

Our Bus is a 1996 Holiday Rambler Endeavor, cummins (not sure of displacement but only 230 HP wish it had more) on Freightliner. No slides (no leaks)

We have had it for 3 years in October and have gone across the country in it once before. We travel with two miniature doxies.

We have had two tent trailers and a big trailer b4 the motorhome. Love the motorhome.

Where are the directions for posting an avatar?

If you can't get there in a motorhome I don't want to go.

Glad you're aboard. You can add an avatar by going to the "User CP" and scrolling down to "Edit Avatar", remember to click to use the avatar in the box where you load it and save at the bottom of the page. Enjoy your adventures and be safe.

To upload or change an avatar:

An avatar is the little picture displayed below your user name in the profile box on the left side of every post. You may use a forums avatar or upload your own custom avatar. Avatars are limited in size to 100 x 100 pixels or 100 KB (whichever is smaller).

To upload a custom avatar: Choose a picture you like that is stored in your computer. Resize the picture to meet the size requirements above using a photo/image editor or camera software. Images that are too large will fail to load and you will receive and error message.

1. Click user CP (control panel) on upper blue tool bar.
2. Click edit avatar on left side menu.
3. Scroll down to the "Custom Avatar" box and click the "use Custom Avatar" button.
4. Click Browse button. A file menu screen will appear and you can choose the avatar file to be loaded. The file name should appear in the "upload an avatar from your computer box".
5. Click save changes.

Welcome! Always good to see new faces here.

Our rig has no slide-out either. We both wanted a bus, but the one hubby was in the process of preparing for conversion wasn't a transmission I can drive-- and the Freightliner he picked up to build into one went up in smoke not too long ago-- so this RV is it, all our other options are out. LOL!

That said, I need to get hubby to list his bus on here. It is too good to sit on the property waiting for one of our kids to grow up and convert it for themselves. Somebody ought to be out loving it.
