Hello all. I'm new to irv2 and pretty new to RVing also. We searched and thought for a long time before purchasing our 2007 Weekend Warrior CR3905. And we like it alot. However after a short time we decided we are a little more spoiled that we thought we where and are now looking at a change already.
We carry a sandrail with us most of the time, thats the reason for the WW but now we think a class C or shorter A would do us better and pull a trailer. SOOOO we are about to face the hard facts of depritiation on a new used rig for trade. Anyway, looking forward to being a part of IRV2 !!!

Hi,
I am a 64 year old female. My 92 year old Mother lives with me.
we just started living full time in our 35 ft. Holiday Rambler, in December 2006.
We are in Florida. Decided to sell our home as we went through 3 hurricanes in one season with damage.
I just retired in December 2005 and I wanted to travel and visit my grown children. One in North Florida, One in North Carolina, One in Tennessee, and the youngest here in Central Florida. I didn't want to leave my home in Florida and be on the road and maybe another storm come through and cause damage again. Soooo, I decided to sell the home and we would live in the RV and just travel to where ever we wanted..... (mostly what I want, but My Mother goes along with me) She is in great health and reads about 3 paper back books daily and loves watching TV. We have satelitte with the DVR receiver and record several programs daily..
Just wanted to say Hi and that we are now apart of the wonderful community of Fulltimers..
Diane

HDrider..
welcome to IRV2! Congrats on your new rig.. good luck finding your perfect "newer yet to you" rig!
DH & I are now on our third rig - OVER a 19 year period. We are in our "can't believe we actually have this" rig...and we are loving it!
I do understand about being "more spoiled" than we thought...but luckily we did not have that until we got it!
If you are gonna take a depreciation hit...might as well do it on one you are gonna keep it for a long time so that you have the negative equity is broken out over a period of time.
Make sure that whatever you get will tow the trailer you want to pull with your sandrail loaded in it!
Ok- I have rambled enuf - again Welcome to IRV2!
