Wink New to iRV2

Hello all,
Just discovered this site with all the friendly folks. We have been RVing for many years, just sold our '03 Monaco MH and now have a Honda Pilot tow vehicle and Roadmaster Sterling towbar for sale. We bought a vacation home in the north GA mountains so may take a few years off from RVing (if we can stand being away from campgrounds and campers!) and then maybe we'll be back in the RV market. We're in Tampa for the winter.

Welcome to the forum!

My wife Tricia and I are currently without an RV - although we're working hard to fix that. There are a ton of helpful people in these forums so you should have plenty to read and lots of help when you start looking for your next RV.

Hope you are enjoying the weather there in FL, it's pretty cold here in GA!

We're not that far north! We're in LaGrange. We moved down here from New York state to escape the snow - we've missed a lot of snow since we moved...

Hi bltampa,

Welcome to IRV2 and it is a shame you decided to get rid of your rig.

I noticed you have a cabin in Blairsville, GA well apparently we are neighbors as I live full-time in Murphy, NC and do travel a lot with my signature coach. Last September got back from a trip of a lifetime to Alaska and back, 11,361 miles.

Yes it is cold but when you originally come from NJ you get used to it and being I'm retired I don't have to go out. In fact the last snow storm we had I went out to make a snow man, niot bad for a guy who is 73 years young.

Well enjoy Florida and your new cabin when you return to GA.
