Hello to all,

I have had campers, fifth wheels, and motorhomes most of my adult life. My name is Curtis Gerhart. I live in Marion, IN. I own a 1978 Travco and recently a 1989 Foretravel U300 Grand Villa 4000. Money IS an object when I purchase rvs, so I make up for it by "laying hands on them and they will recover" mentality. In fact, the Foretravel needs a left rear wheel "eyebrow" shroud, or fender. It was damaged in a tire blowout. If anyone can help me to lay hands on this beautiful machine, maybe we can resurrect it from the grave. This has to be a great site. They have smiley faces!!!

Curtis,

Good luck in restoring your Foretravel. You might want to contact McKinney RV for parts.

McKinney RV-Alabama RV Dealer, Red Bay AL, RV Service

Good Luck,
Jon

Welcome, I lived in Marion back in the 70's, well actually lived in Van Burien and worked in Marion.

The people on this forum are great. They've been great help to me and some of my "blonde" questions.

Welcome to IRV2! Photos are very popular here. I'd love to see photos of both of those.

To all,

Thanks to all the responders. I will attempt to take some pics of my rigs. I am limited on time though. I work 12-16 hours a day and go to school working on a PhD. Just keep buggin me about the pics. The Travco has all new appliances and a hopped up 440-3: High rise intake, radical cam, headers with dual exhaust, shift kit, rv cam, rv torque converter. About 500 hp. Again, thank you for the responses and advice. Gotta love dem happy faces

Best regards,

Curtis
