New to it all

Hello all, my husband and I are new to rving and have just bought our first travel trailer. It is a 26' Trail West (29' with hitch) by Trail Creek.

You have come to a good place to learn about RVing from a lot of experienced people. I have learned a lot here myself. Glad to have you aboard.

G'morning "shaker" from the prairies of South Dakota and a BIG WELCOME to the iRV2 bunch. Is it still pretty chilly up in the Edmonton area??? We came through there on our way to Alaska and had planned to stop at your big shopping mall, but the weather and time of day kinda kept us heading further North. We'll make to the mall sometime.

Again, Welcome to the gang.

Ask questions here as they pop up. There is a wealth of very knowledgeable people here and they will share with you. Your Trail Creek is a nice unit. May it serve you well!

Welcome! This is the best place to come and learn from others - you'd be amazed at the things you'll learn while browsing the site. We jumped into rving 3yrs ago w/a 30' TT. Now we're considering going for a Class C. I don't know what I'd do without the folks here who are so willing to share their knowledge and experiences. ENJOY IT ALL!
Don't forget to turn off the water before you head out on a trip!

Thanks for the warm welcome! My husband works out of town in Fort McMurray, in Alberta's oil sands, so we haven't been able to take the trailer out yet.
Chickadee, the weather here would be warm if that damn prairie wind would just slow down to a breeze! We are of course getting our crazy spring weather, yesterday it was snowing, hailing, raining, sunny and really windy, it wouldn't be so bad if you weren't standing in the hail looking at the sun a mile away! So anyway until the wind slows down I won't be taking the trailer anywhere, there have already been a bunch of accidents with trailers flipped on the highways around here. Safe travels my friends, I will definately be posting questions in the forum.
