New to Motorhomes

Hi all. We are a married couple from central Iowa and have been rving for about 20 years. Two weeks ago we traded our truck and fifth wheel for a 07 Damon Tuscany.
We spend winters in south Texas and are avid kite builders and flyers.
My wife and I look foreward to this October when I will be fully retired. Can't wait.
I like the forum and will have lots of questions about out new coach.
Thanks to all.

Hello midiowa!! WELCOME to iRV2. You're gonna love it. Wife and I retired out of Duluth, MN in 05 and after selling ALL, have fulltimed ever since and are LOVING IT!! Bought our 1st Newmar from Stenzel's RV on the Iowa side of the border just S. of Blue Earth, MN. Also haunted Born Free in Humboldt for awhile before electing to go to big rig instead. One daughter now lives in Des Moines and is a minister at Hope Lutheran. We look forward to running into you folks somewhere down the road. It'd be fun watchin ya fly your kites, something we've been attracted to but have yet to take up seriously. Always used to help the kids with their kites and swore that someday I'd find myself a breezy empty field and fly a kite all by myself!!! Even bought a small kite which is still in the pachaging!! Well, enough. Again...WELCOME. Steve & Lynette
