Hello Dave and welcome to IRV2. Our grandkids were also impressed with our house truck.(Class C). They love camping with us. We found the best way to make friends is to go to Rallys and post on the Where are you camping thread. We have met several people that way and now we all camp once a month. Good luck.

Welcome and ask any questions. This forum has help me greatly. I/We have found the best way to make new friends is to get out and camp. Depending on your style and preference to camping will determine where you go. We stay at State Parks about 98% of time. We enjoy the bigger sites and the nature to look at. Our 2 daughter (6 & 7) are the camp social bees and we enjoy walking the dogs and meeting those in our area. With an older MH we get alot of people asking how old it is and can't believe how good a shape its in. From there its talking and sittin by the fire.

Have fun and enjoy
Arnold

Hello and welcome to irv2!

Try not to worry to much about the gas mileage, the fun you will have will far out weigh the cost of gasoline. I would not expect you would get much better then 8-10 mpg.
