New to RVing
Hello,
we just bought a 2005 Winnebago Sightseer 29R. We have never camped or driven anything larger than a conversion van! We are in the northeast so we won't be taking any trips till spring. We're looking forward to new adventures on the road with our two springer spaniels. Glad to have this support group.

Welcome! We are newbies too and from the northeast too! (PA). We've had our Thor ACE for a little over a month and took one trip. Had to take care of a recall on the brake calipers so we probably won't be taking any trips until Spring also...with our 2 Golden Retrievers. You'll love this forum...so much info!

Hi. It is nice to have neighbors in the NE. It was actually the Thor Ace that got us interested in a Class A. They are beautiful coaches. Sorry you had a recall. Our Winnebago is 10 years old, but in great condition. It's from Texas so this will be it's first winter. Unfortunately, we couldn't pick it up till a week ago, then the starter needed to be replaced. We took it out for a day trip on Sunday. It is already winterized so we will have to wait till spring to try out the water systems.
How do you travel with your goldens? Are they loose in the coach or do you crate or restrain them in some way? Our springers are super excited when we have taken them to see RV and bounce from the couch to the table etc. We did not take them on our day trip as we need to get used to driving a bus first.
