New to RVing

Hey guys,

Great site. Every google search I have made in my quest to buying my first diesel pusher has led me here.

Wife and I are getting into our first RV so we can make things a little easier with travels, and taking our 1 year old son on trips.

My big issue right now, is in considering something other then a Cummins. There are a lot of nice homes on the market with the CAT, but I'm just not sold on them in comparison. We are looking at late 90's, early 2000's in the 40 and under range. Hopefully in the near future, I can share pictures of whatever the heck I end up with.

Eric

Welcome folks, just take your time looking, as there are many clean used diesel pushers for sale. Give some thought to buying one from a high end builder.

Hey Becks, thank you for the welcome.

When you say higher end builder, what are you referring to? Higher price?

I have my sites set on either a Holiday Rambler, or possibilly a Monaco. I have a friend who has 4 Holiday ramblers in his family, so he has been my compass. I like what he has, design, performance, styling.

Hi Eric! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

You might want to look at the Monaco Windsor 2002. We love ours!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

Some of the high end builders would include Monaco, Holiday Rambler, Country Coach, Travel Supreme, Newmar, and American Coach.

Hey Happy Campers, thank you very much!

A Windsor is most definitely on my radar. Just have to find the right one, with the right options, for the right price, in the right condition! It will come along eventually.

I forgot to mention Newmar as well. But I cant seem to find a Newmar on the market with a double fridge. Just one of our requirments.

We have been watching the market for a year, and have a really good idea of what we want. Just need to be patient for that right one to land.

And here is Alex. Just turned one a couple weeks ago. He is the main reason behind the purchase. I want to give him a killer childhood experience, and take him everywhere.
