New to RVing

Hi everyone! My husband and I just purchased a 2016 Thor Hurricane 34f. We pick it up on Friday. We live on Sugar Mountain in North Carolina and look forward to hitting the road on our new adventures with our two fur babies. We are brand new to RVing so I will probably ask some stupid questions. Thank you for your patience. We are taking RV driving lessons and have two close friends who are avid RVers. They have helped us tremendously on the setup and it is because of them we took the leap and purchased an RV. Iím also kind of handy at times but I have to say I am a bit intimidated. Itís good to know there are sites like this where we can communicate and ask questions without judgment. Happy trails.

Glad you joined us here. Congrats on your new Thor. It will be a bit intimidating at first, but after a few miles you'll get use to it and start having fun with it.

Let us know if we can help you.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new coach.

You are joining a good group of folks here with good info to share. Read the various threads here and ask questions as they come up. The learning curve is long but thankfully steep only in the beginning.

Good luck and enjoy the adventure!

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

Congrats on the new rig! We love the mountains of NC and will be staying the month of October in Maggie Valley. Have fun and keep her between the ditches!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!
