Question New to Rving and forums!

Hello all,
My husband and I retired about 4 years ago and have been traveling by car to see national parks. Our goal is to see each and every one. We took the plunge recently and bought a Thor motor coach. We have a trip planned in mid September and have been learning and supplying our RV. We took a weekend trip to test things out and found some minor repairs that need doing. One thing I definitely missed was having someplace to sit a drink or snack on when sitting on the couch. Does anyone have a suggestion for a great side table or TV tray type table or do I need to just develop better balance and try to use my lap? I'd sure appreciate any suggestions!

If you have a hard surface where you sit then you might look at the drink holders that fold when not in use. Search them on Ebay.

Greetings and welcome to the iRV2 forums!

Is your Thor a Class C or one of their smaller Class A? It will help us help you if we know what year and model of coach you have purchased. The "easy button" for this is to go to the User Control Panel here:

http://www.irv2.com/forums/usercp.php

In the left hand column you'll find "Setting and Options" and under that, "Edit Signature." You can enter up to 3 lines of text (unless you are a financial supporter or commercial user, then you get additional space). Most of us put the specifics of our RV there and maybe a witty quote or personal info like first names, pets, etc.

Your question about accessories should be a new thread in an appropriate forum - under the RV Forums heading there are subforums for Class A,B,C etc, general motor home discussion, and there are the Owners forums where things are organized by manufacturer name.

Take a few minutes to read some of the topics in each forum to get an idea of where might be best for your question. You'll get lots of help here.

Safe travels and good luck to you both.

We carry one of these, stow it behind the chair for the dining table.

Welcome and congrats on the new rig.

There are multiple smaller nesting tables that you can find at places like wal-mart, Big lots, Tuesday morning, Pier one and others.

Good luck and enjoy the new adventure.

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

Congrats on the new rig! I can't think of a tray or table like you need. Have fun and keep her between the ditches!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!
