New to RVing and irv2

We just bought an older Minnie Winnie, never had an RV before so we didn't want to spend a bundle to find out if we are gonna like it or not. The thing is in pretty good shape considering, we are in to Cowboy Action Shooting and felt this would allow us to travel to multi-day shoots and stay with others RVers that shoot. Most stay at the range and have a campfire and socialize.
We want to replace the mattress, the "john" and change the carpet to wood flooring, so I'll be looking for advise from those that have done some of this.

Welcome to IRV2. You have come to the right place. The folks on here are very helpful and friendly. Hope you enjoy your rig. Check out the 2012 IRV2 National Rally thread. It is a fun event and you will meet loads of great people. Happy Travels!

I remember that Camping World. We had the worst time finding it. I think you will enjoy RV'ing. Making friends as you travel and go to your shoots will make it worth every penny.

I think so.
We have two friends that have them that are wanting us to go camping too. But that will be awhile, we have to buy all the linens and stock it with plates, silverware and so forth and so on. I have to go dig in the store room and see whats left over from the boats............ had boats for years and years and had some of what I'm gonna need if its still around.
