Smile New To RVing & READY TO ROLL

We now have a 36 ft Class A Southwind. Home base is Arizona where many snowbirds flock in the winter. We will most likely check out Sierra Vista, Yuma and Quartzite this winter. We will head out of Arizona next spring for a long trip. We'll spend 5 weeks at Lake of The Ozarks. From there?? who knows...that's half the fun.
Fraser is a retired Geologist Geophysicist turned Birder/Photographer. We plan to be in south Texas next spring for the migration. He's a football and baseball nut! He is also involved with NASCAR in many ways.
I'm a Behavioral Therapist/Writer/Speaker.
We look forward to RV meet ups and rallys.
I'm searching for tips on must have items. We know we need to learn lots about the do's and don'ts.

Sending a Smile

Must have: Fly swatter & GPS, in order of importance!!

Oh a pre-op checklist is very helpful, e.g. hatchcovers down, leveling jacks up, etc.

See you out there...

hahaha we took a 7 day maiden voyage in northern AZ last month. wanted to get out of the HEAT!! It gave the opportunity to see what we needed, what didn't work right...etc....Of course a FLY SWATTER is always a priority for Fraser. keeps his mind occupied ....hehehehehe

Welcome to this great website!

I use my "NEXT" book on every trip. That's a MUST HAVE (at least for here in the northeast). Enjoy the travels!
