Smile New to RVing in Vancouver, WA

Hello from Ray,wife Jennifer, two children Shaun and Bridget! We have a 1989 Winnebego Chieftain, 66,000 miles on her. She has a 454. She has been partially remodeled inside with several new appliances, that is the plus side, down side is the outside is kinda rough and as a whole she needs work but she does run great. So we all look at this as a new adventure for our plan is to move into her and travel around within the next two years. My personal mission is to learn all I can about the care of this great rig and help transform it back to it's once grand state or at least get it to all work properly and safely.

I too am from Vancouver, my wife Rita and I had the same plans to travel for two years, We bought the rig and parked it in front of our house, I told Rita I was going to go and get a physical at the VA in Portland. Turned out that was a good idea-I had developed colen cancer and only had a year to live. The doctor operated and removed 100% of the cancer back in March, since I have been restricted to only lifting 10 lbs. (Try and guess how long it takes to load a 24 pack of beer). Load two drink one.
