Hi there! My wife and I are about to begin RVing! We live in Montgomery, Texas. We have a 2016 KZ Sportsmen 330bhk and will pull it with a 2009 GMC Sierra 2500HD. Truck has 101k miles and has just had all fluids drained and replaced. Have a Husky weight distributing hitch also.
We are going to a local RV park for a night or two to get used to the procedures we need to get started and then will travel to Denver, CO in a few weeks as my son and family are moving there mid-June. My next door neighbor is going to train me in 'how to tow' prior to that and will help with our local trip also.
If anyone has any check lists that I can modify for our own use that would be awesome! Also, any tips or advise would be most welcome.
