New to Sacramento region

Hi all,

I am in the process of moving to Sacramento to live with my son's family. We are in disengaging ourselves from Phoenix after 20 years and will be moving a little bit at a time. A couple of months here and several months there packing and selling off our stuff until all ties are cut and we will be living here full time after selling our home.

The first problem I found myself facing is that thinking that our propane tanks were full due to a faulty electric gauge, we unpacked and set our Rv up for living in. I have to get our tanks filled but am looking to avoid having to put things up so we can get on the road to a filling station. Does anyone know if there is such a service here in the Sacramento area?

Aside from that, we are organizing our things and trying to find ways to easily available instead of packed into the compartments. To this end we are using glue on and screw on hooks, spring clamps, door hangers, etc. The one we haven't figured out yet is how to have a small assortment of books easily accessed like on small book shelves or the like. I thought maybe a visit to an Ikea might be useful as they have all kinds of gadgets for organizing one's home.

I might add that we plan on living in our RV for one to two years while we convert our son's garage into an in-law studio. Our motivation was to be near our family, kids and grand kids.

Thanks for any feedback, input.

Tony

Welcome to iRV2

Try reaching out to some of the propane dealers in the area and see if they are able to service you .
