Hi everyone,
We've been researching for a full year, and are the proud owners of our Journey Coach. We are new at RVing, and plan to set out in a few weeks, to shave a bit off of this Winter. We'll be traveling all the way down to Florida, from our home in New Hampshire.
I look forward to being a part of the forum and this community
Sheila & Jim

Welcome aboard, Sheila and Jim! You're going to like the people here and the good advice you can get. I just had my 4th monthaversary as a full-timer and this board has been a gold mine of information. Happy trails!

Welcome JSE80, don't forget to join into the Norteasters group. Let us know where in Florida you will be as we pretty much have the state covered. I'm sure you can meet someone of us somewhere.
The Norteasters usually plan on a spring-summer rally somewhere in the Northeast. Stay tuned right here for more information on the next Wicked Good Northeasters Rally.

Hello Sheila & Jim, welcome to the forum and congratulations on your Journey. Come on down, it's got to be warmer here than in New Hampshire.

Thank you all. I'm sure you will see me stumbling around here for a while, until I can get accustomed to the forum...and it will be awhile before I'm going to be used to living in the RV. I'll be telling the tales of our life, with our dog, Tucker, and our two cats, Peeper and Dickens.

Hi bdaball.
How do I go about getting connected to the Norteasters group?
We intend to set out on February 11, and arrive at Carrabelle Beach. We read that some of the sites are hard to pull into, but my husband talked to the office staff, and they reassured him that he would be able to pull in with ease. And it's a pull-thru site.
We'll stay at Carrabelle Beach for 2 weeks, and then we go over to Pelican's Landing Resort, in Sebastian. We'll stay there for the month of March.
I have been packing up, and making lists, and getting some of our utilities put on a Seasonal Suspend... We can't put any food or anything with cloth in the Coach yet, because it will freeze, and get infested with mice.
Today, my head is already at it's quota of information - as I have researched the Checklists for Pre-Trip and Leaving a Campsite. I've got a list now, that I composed from 3 different sites.... and I'm driving myself absolutely crazy!

Jim (my husband) likes your Avatar. I'll be doing all that when my life finally slows down and I am at my campsite in Florida.

Hi! We were in and around Zephyrhillis when we were in Fl a few weeks ago. Nice area! It was so enjoyable to be in 70 degree weather with blue skies and sunshine. Speaking of blue skies, I started a blog a few months ago, with the intention of using it to post pictures for family and friends. If you want to see our coach, there are some pictures of it on there.
