Well since our Moderator seems to have misplaced my first post , let's see if we can do this again!
I found this Forum through another site and joined because as a new RVer, I am anxious to learn everything I can about it. I have a 32' Trail Cruiser and am finding out I know a lot about camping but very little about RVing!

Thanks brado3ca and Allegro Happy,
Since you are both moderators, let me throw this at you...

I looked at the different Forums and you have a pretty good variety. However one that I think would be a good addition would be one for "newbies" - those like myself who are new to RVing and who might be shy or embarrased to ask those "dumb questions" we all have at in the beginning, in a regular Forum. If we could go to one labelled "Newbies" or something, it would be understood that we don't know the first thing about these RV things!

Just an idea...

Hello ak_traveler,may be something for Administration to ponder... but on the other hand, consider we were all newbies at some point, and with the constant changes, upgrades, and improvements in the RV Industry, we will always be Newbies. As far as asking "dumb questions".. there are no "dumb questions" I say my friend ..ask away! The info and help available in these forums is endless Please don't be "Shy".. from where I'm sit'n we're all the same.

Hello Wes, Linda, & Kids,

Welcome to iRV2, we're really glad to have you here as a new member and are looking forward to reading your posts about your RVing experiences and adventures in your Trail Cruiser towed by a Ford Excursion. You'll find a great bunch of folks on this site who are very knowledgeable of RVing, the rigs we use, and the places we go in them.

As you'll see, they're eager to help and share their knowledge and experiences with others.

Again, welcome to iRV2, we're glad you joined.

Hi ak_traveler,
Here's a perspective on irv2 from a regular (non-moderator, administrator, etc.) member. We read irv2 for over a year before we bought our motorhome, so we were wanna-be newbies. No one ever made fun of the basic questions we asked and we are very pleased with our motorhome now that we have had it a year.

This group makes it clear that the intention is to help all of us learn more when we need to, and the Florida Boomers have also become a very important social group for us.

And, I suspect the Florida Boomers will pepper you with Newbie wanna-be-Alaska-camper questions. So, you should feel free to ask your questions, and to answer ours. Welcome to a very helpful and friendly corner of the Web.

Ak_traveler let me also add a welcome to irv2. There are great folks and great information on these posts. When I first signed on I had a question about Marathon tires so I simply typed in 'tires' in the find tab. Lo and behold I got 5 new tires mounted and balanced from Goodyear, free! So if you have a question, in addition to a post use the 'Find'tab. Let us hear of your Ak travels. Happy Trails!!
