New to the forum and new to RV'ing

Hi all,

Chris and Joann from the Hudson Valley area of NY, we are just about to purchase our first RV. We are looking at two Winnebago's a 99 and a 00 both Adventurer 35U, also a runner up is a Fleetwood Southwind of about the same year and size.

Although new to RV'ing i ( Chris) grew up backpacking and camping with my parents and have done much of it throughout the northeast ad canoed all over the Adirondacks and also a boater.

Looking forward to learning alot of this forum and making some new friends

C & J

Chris...I do welcome you to the forum....it is a wonderful place to seek information and make life long associations. You have mentioned all real solid RVs and I think if you select one that has been check listed (please down load and print the RV BUYERS CHECKLIST (found under FILES in the above bar)). Use the Buyers Checklist to your advantage. I still use it to access my personal MH to make sure all components are reviewed yearly as I season prep. Great tool.

Welcome to IRV2. I had an
01 35u Chieftain. It was a great MH and it took us to 49 States and all 10 Canadian Provinces totaling 62,000 miles. I so had a FW MH ( Bounder 35E ) . Both good choices. Good luck with your decision.
