Ah! Not too good at this navigation and still always amazed at the technology of the Internet Dish I carry!
My buddy Spirit and I left Florida, or was it Georgia almost a year ago... Started with a Bronco and Pop Up Camper (all in one!), we have graduated to, for us, total luxury in the form of a 23' Tioga B... I say "B" bacuase it has the kitchen in the rear... Being a Chef I did not want a queen size bed to sit there doing nothing and taking up space... Having lived on a sailboat for 28 years I love the bunk... Anyhow, we trailer my motorcycle and sidecar unit for HIM... write my http://www.theoasisofmysoul.com/... and a lot of pictures...
Writing this by the Snake River... great BLM campsites, free... we rarely do campgrounds.
That is all for now... I think we will go for a ride now...

Be well...

Ara & Spirit

Ara and Spirit,

Welcome to iRV2. I've been reading your exploits over on i-BMW.com. I especially enjoyed your Big Bend comments as we had planned to retire in the Davis Mountains and owned 10 acres between Fort Davis and the McDonald Observatory and know most of the roads you describe in that part of Texas quite well. We look forward to hearing more about your travels.

Small world! I think this Forum will answer some questions that I have... an Rv is not that much different from a sailboat (28years), but somehow is at the same time!!!
I have some very good friends in Fort Davis!!! No bikers... they own the bookstore! No... no sign... when it is open... the red truck is there... awesome people! Jerry and Nelda... if ever there, tell them Ara said HI!!! Miss those people... great area... How about that pool in Balmorhea!!! I will be camping there next year.. and soak up the sun and... water!

Be well...

Ara & Spirit

Beemers are bikes; bimmers are cars.
