Red face New to the site

Hello RV friends,
I'm new to this site but recognized what a great tool it is. We bought our first RV in 2004 when we lived in So Cal. It was a used Rockwood 827 ultra lite. It was filthy and needed some work but I wouldn't trade the experience of fixing it up for anything. I learned so much and appreciated every camping trip knowing I had a reliable trailer. We moved to Idaho in '06, met another RV enthusiast family who took us on new and exciting camping excursions. After our friends moves away, we decides to switch out the trailer for a nice wake board boat. Because of the wind in Southern Idaho, buying a boat was a huge mistake and we really missed our 8/27. (The bad thing about experience is that by the time you need it, it's too late). Today we have neither a boat or an RV. Our goal now is to get ourselves into a diesel pusher that can haul a trailer. I build rustic furniture and home decor and would love to travel to some local and not so local flea markets to set up shop...camp and sell.
I do not know the first thing about motorhomes but hope to be schooled here. I would like to find out about towing a cargo trailer Behring the pusher...what to look for and what to watch for. If nothing else, I am interested in pushers...comfortable size, handling (with and without a cargo trailer), etc. I will be looking for a used unit and understand the importance of maintenance records but not sure about any other obvious things to look for. I'm not ready to purchase at the present time but want to have an arsenal of knowledge when I am ready so please recommend which forums to follow.
Thank you in advance and happy RV'ing, cheers!

Glad you're aboard. Some former neighbors used to do the flea market circuit. He does fret work and she did macrame to old lawn furniture. Best of luck in your search and decision. Enjoy your adventures and be safe.

Hi Byoung

Glad to have you here with us. Congrats on your decision to look into a Diesel pusher. Having all the systems checked before purchase is a good idea. I would also look into the age of the tires, as generally RV tires will dry rot before they wear out. Good luck with your search and Happy Trails!!!
