After telling my wife many times that I am in no way a "camping person", I purchased an '08 Fleetwood Expedition - 34H so I could get the family out of the house. We're trying to get it out at least once per month.

So far, we've hit a number of popular spots in California, but our next big trip is scheduled for June of '08 when we head back to Wisconsin to visit our families.

Looking forward to watching the various topics that come up on this site.

Paul,
Welcome to iRV2 Glad to have you aboard.
I have a cousin that lives on the outskirts of 'Beautiful Bakersfield', and we will be going through there next week on our way to Death Valley, Yuma, Quartzsite, etc. Would you please keep the snow off the Tehachapi's until after we are through there?
Again, Welcome,
Loren

Paul;

Welcome to IRV2. We are the friendliest & best site on the Internet IMHO. Post often and keep us advised of your travel adventures.

I am from Wisconsin and wonder what part of WI you are traveling to? Perhaps we can make contact. Send me a PM if you wish to contact me further and I will respond.

Have fun;

Don

You're not a camper, but a RVer!

Welcome to iRV2 Paul, You will find that this is one of the best forums on the internet. Check out our Fleetwood forum, I'm sure there will be lots of people interested in talking to you. In fact I'll put a shortcut from this post to there so the people on that forum can welcome you too.

It looks like we'll be camping about 30 minutes north of Milwaukee since the only campground in the Milwaukee area is at the State Fair Park (NOT!!!)

We're going to the Antigo area for a few days if I can find a place to park the rig. Otherwise we'll just take the toad up there.

When we start heading out of the state, I'm sure we'll put a day or so in at the Dells.

In the days when I was a Wisconsin resident, I traveled through Weyauwega many times heading from Milwaukee to Medford every weekend during the summer months.

Paul, welcome to iRV2.com. We are glad to have you join us here and we look forward to reading of your adventures and experiences. Congraulations on your new motorhome. When we bought our first motorhome we quit calling it camping and called it RVing! I am sure you will enjoy this website and forum. Let us know if we can help with questions.

Paul in BDB...
Welcome to iRV2!As you have seen, this is a very friendly and somewhat knowledgable group of RVers! I feel this is the best RV forum on the web...but that is my own personal opinion
I hope you enjoy your RVing experience as much as we here have ...to me it is the best way to travel and see this great country!

I would also like to suggest that you ask to become a member of the "Fleetwood Owners Forum"! There is no charge to you...the only thing they ask is that you try to throw in your 2 cents worth every once in awhile!

Again..welcome to iRV2.. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do...visit & post often...it is what makes this board so great!

MM
