We are "rejuvenating" a 1986 Beaver Marquis Emerald. Detroit Diesel Allins transmission. The interior is like new. Exterior...clear coat peeling...but otherwise..ok. One BIG problem, when attaching hose from city water we have a leak inside from somewhere betwwen under the refrigerator to under the sink. Can all 3 lines that run in this channel be easily replaced to eliminate the leak?? what a great forum, have been reading ALL day ! Nice people! Thanks and happpy trails!

Welcome to iRV2, we're really glad to have you here as a new member and are looking forward to reading your posts about your RVing experiences and adventures in your vintage Beaver Marquis. You'll find a great bunch of folks on this site who are very knowledgeable of RVing, the rigs we use, and the places we go in them.
I'll add a 'shortcut' to this thread in our Vintage RV's forum, maybe some of the folks hanging out there can help you with the plumbing question. As you'll see, they're eager to help and share their knowledge and experiences with others.
Again, welcome to iRV2, we're glad you joined.

Glad you found us here. As for your question about the coach and the plumbing, maybe one of the other folks with experience on a coach like yours will jump in here,
Ken

1986 Beaver...
I would like to give you a huge "MonacoMama Welcome"!! I would like to invite you down to the Monaco Forum also...You own a Monaco related product, so you are more than welcome to join the forum there! I don't think we haveany Beaver members with a rig as old as yours...but we may have some members who used to own one!
Good luck with your restoration...but more importantly...finding a way to fix your leak!
Again...welcome to iRV2 (and hopefully the Monaco Forum!)

Thank you so much for all the kind wecomes! We have fixed our water leak, intalled 2 new LCD tv's and DVD's,Are awaiting the delivery of a new hot water heater and then we'll be on our way to 2 weeks at Horseneck Beah in Westport, MA
It's in our hometown, state park right on the ocean a perfect place for our long test of non-drivetrain components...plus I can drive the kids to school and pick them up while there! We just bought a new Suburban hot water heater off Ebay at 1/3 the cost of Camping World. just wondering if anyone elsegoes this route for replacements? Have a GREAT day !!

Welcome all newbies. I am a newbie too. My mom just purchased a used Yellowstone trailer in a private campground. It has been in the same spot for ages. The person we bought from, bought from the original owners. We are thinking it may have been made in the 50's or 60's. There are no manuals in the trailer. If anyone can point me to a way to get a manual that would be awesome. I will have to take measurements next weekend when I drop off DD to go to camp w/my Mom next week. And maybe ask DH to help with getting a picture posted. We can still hook up propane to use the stove and fridge, but the previous owner (an engineer) was hesitant to try anything with the electrical system. This is a "dry" (no hook-ups of any kind) campground, so we are not looking to work on the electrical system just yet. Also, can anyone recommend anything about getting the cushions re-made? I can rough it a bit, but when we were moving the cushions outside to air them out, there were 3-4 wormy/sluggy creepy-crawlies under it. I shudder to think how many creatures may have started (or may still be starting) their lives in those cushions. Don't get me wrong. It is better than a tent, and previous owner kept it as neat as possible, but a trailer sitting year round in the country for decades is bound to have it's share of critter visitors. So new cushions are my personal priority. Do RV places sell them/make them? Are there standard pre-cut pieces of foam that are just waiting to be covered for RV/trailer sleeping areas? Please advise, thanks!
